After receiving her Bachelor's degree in French and African Studies in 2009, Amanda pursued a course on Introduction to French to English Translation from New York University in 2012, and has been translating professionally ever since. She is an active member of the American Translators Association and the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters, as well as many translation-related social media groups. She received superior proficiency certification in French and English from the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages in 2015, and also received her ProZ PRO certification in 2016.
Amanda specializes in legal texts, general business communications, and international development. She has also translated a variety of other texts, such as employee surveys, websites, social media, transcripts, certificates, and public health presentations.
