Top 5 Marketing Industry Trade Shows

marketing trade show

The world of content marketing services changes so frequently that it’s hard to keep up with all of the most recent developments. The tricks that worked yesterday might not be so effective tomorrow, while there are new ways of producing and distributing content that you might not even know about. Worse, if you’re delinquent in discovering these new trends, you might see your competition pass you by, leaving you wondering what just happened.

That’s where trade shows come in. Just as trade shows in electronics and entertainment show off the newest developments and products to emerge in those industries, content marketing trade shows can show you the future of marketing. Furthermore, you’ll learn from authorities in the field who will tell you exactly what you need to do to stand apart from the pack. Even if you don’t overhaul your entire marketing, you’ll learn vital information that will keep your finger on the pulse.

With that in mind, we’ve listed the top five content marketing trade shows below. Take a look at these and see if these shows can help you take your content marketing to the next level.

Content Marketing World

The Content Marketing World show features more than 80 sessions hosted by thought leaders in the content marketing industry. The conference offers something for everybody, from CEOs to creators of content, and each type of content marketing – B2B, B2C, and non-profits – all get their own showcase. The Content Marketing World show is in its fifth year, and the 2015 version will emanate from Cleveland, Ohio from September 8-11.

NMX – New Media Expo

NMX has been an annual show since 2007, and its focus is on combining content with new media. The show incorporates all aspects of digital media, from conventional blogs to newer methods of content creation, such as video and podcasts. This year, NMX combines with the National Association of Broadcasters to put forth a more comprehensive and engaging show than ever before. NMX occurs from April 13-16 and is hosted in Las Vegas.

Market New York Expo

The Market New York Expo is a conference that is largely devoted to the marketing efforts of small businesses. This event shows how content can be used across multiple marketing mediums, particularly social media and search engine marketing. Additionally, the expo provides valuable networking opportunities, essential for all small businesses. The 2015 Market New York Expo is the second edition of this trade show, with this year’s show located at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Dx3

Dx3 is the largest digital marketing conference in Canada. This two-day event is a who’s who of digital marketing success, featuring leaders from companies such as Buzzfeed, IBM and Reddit. This event will show attendees how to create quality content and market digitally in exciting, yet effective ways. Best of all, the focus of this year’s show is teaching marketers to get results now, as opposed to later. The 2015 Dx3 show takes place in Toronto on March 11-12.

ContentTECH

Most trade shows require travel, accommodations, and time booked off from work and family. However, ContentTECH is an entirely virtual event that allows attendees to get a great marketing education without leaving their homes. This event focuses specifically on using the newest developments in technology to streamline content marketing. This year’s event takes place on February 12, and it features two keynote presentations and six unique sessions that detail different aspects of content marketing.
