Ayinde received a B.A. degree in Banking and Finance with a minor in Drama while on a full Academic Scholarship. While in college, Ayinde and now famed attorney Charles Hobbs began writing a column for Morehouse College's school newspaper, The Maroon Tiger, titled, "Politically and Socially Speaking." In this column the writers discussed political events of the day, including the appointment of Justice Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court. During this time, Ayinde began writing short stories and poetry, while taking classes in the Drama Department at Spelman College. Morehouse allowed Ayinde to develop into a true "Renaissance Man," enhancing and fostering his desires to learn and absorb information on a variety of topics.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Ayinde became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a service organization and member of the National Pan Hellenic Council while a student at Morehouse College. Ayinde was initiated through Psi Chapter of the Fraternity and strongly believes in community service and mentorship of young people.
