Rick Fahr is a longtime Arkansas journalist. Winner of two dozen statewide writing/editing contests, he is known as a thorough, fair and dedicated newsman, as well as a creative feature writer and powerful commentary writer. He is a decorated military veteran, having served tours of duty in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Iraq. His service in Iraq earned him the Bronze Star. He is an Arkansas native whose writing style recalls the scene-setting of Rick Bragg, the humor of Molly Ivins and the pacing of John Steinbeck.
