Jennifer began her writing career almost ten years ago when she started working for a sustainable and responsible mutual fund company. During her employ, she produced a range of writing pieces that covered a number of topics related to sustainability including green building practices within the U.S. homebuilding industry, water scarcity, and inter-company articles on health and fitness topics.
It was during this time that she began penning screenplays and short fiction pieces in her free time. She continues to write for the screen, but has expanded into long-format fiction and is now employed part-time as a staff writer for Macaroni Kid of Pittsburgh, where she researches and writes content for four weekly newsletters that reach over 10,000 moms and dads in the greater Pittsburgh area.
As a skilled researcher, Jennifer can quickly identify the key points of a topic of study and produce a cogent and incisive article. Her research skills, coupled with a clear and distinctive authorial voice, allow her to write across a wide range of topics.
Health and wellness, beauty, fitness, career, sustainability and environmental issues, creativity, education, food and nutrition (with a focus on vegetarian and vegan diets), food politics, women's interests, immigration issues
