Janice put North Georgia on the map! She worked as a reporter/photographer for the North Georgia News, writing between five and fifteen articles per week for over eight years.
During that time, she covered local festivals, sporting events, small business celebrations (such as grand openings and ribbon cuttings), school functions, and much more. If there was something going on in North Georgia, Janice was there with her notebook and camera.
Her body of work includes everything from human interest stories to reports on local government, non-profit issues, aging, and education. Many of her articles are posted online at her website.
During her time as a reporter/photographer, she also designed websites for over a hundred small businesses. She provided not only the designs, but also the copy and content for a huge variety of professionals including chiropractors, carpenters, innkeepers, real estate agents, politicians, artists, insurance salesmen, florists, chefs, interior designers, and hair stylists.
Over the past 10 years, Janice has become knowledgeable on many subjects including traditional medicine, herbal medicine, cooking, gardening, farming, art, fundraising, small town life, local politics, and other issues that help form our society.
If Janice doesn't know something about a particular subject, she knows how to use the right tools to do the required research. Janice can write on any subject that comes her way.
She never misses a deadline and can always find interesting details to add to her stories -- no matter the subject. Writing is her passion -- and it shows in every sentence.
