Summary of Experience
Emma is a recent graduate of Dartmouth College. She received her degree in English, Theater, and Neuroscience. While at school, Emma worked as a writer for the Dartmouth Office of Public Affairs. This job taught her how to work with an editorial team, how to come up with her own article topics, and how to find her voice as a writer. In addition to writing articles for the Dartmouth Office of Public Affairs, Emma studied abroad in London on a theater foreign studies program. While abroad, she took an extensive seminar on reviewing and critiquing theater productions. This helped her use what she learned as an editorial staff member, and apply it to her voice as a theater critic.

When she is not writing, Emma continues to build her resume in the entertainment industry. For the past two years she has worked for the Napa Valley Film Festival as a VIP guest liaison, and she recently moved to Los Angles where she works as a director's assistant on the upcoming feature film Folk Hero and Funny Guy. Through her work in the film festival and with this director, Emma has learned the ins and outs of this industry. She has worked with agents, managers, producers, actors, and CEOs of major production companies such as The Weinstein Co. She understands the way in which the business side of this industry is run, and where the creative aspects factor in and flourish.

Moving forward, Emma plans to take all of the knowledge she has learned about the entertainment industry, and apply it to writing top notch articles geared towards film, television, theater, and art. She is confident that her educational background, coupled with her knowledge of the business will produce organized, creative, and intriguing content for her readers.
