Having received his bachelor's degree in Classics from Columbia University, Diego moved back to Colombia after 15 years in the U.S. to teach at a private academy and do freelance translating and interpreting. Diego started translating as a freelancer in college. Classes on linguistics and the subfield of Spanish pragmatics peaked his interest and he went on to pursue teaching. Now residing in Bogotá, he has taken on more creative projects and exigent on-the-spot interpretation.

Diego learned French at the age of ten and has cultivated it since, teaching it at all levels in the past four years. His experience ranges from interpretation to editing and translating, most recently working on a script for a documentary and lessons plans for a philosophy class.
