Although languages always intrigued her and she received her Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge and Michigan Universities in a young age, Lina decided to study Civil Engineering. At first she received her Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and continued with a Bachelor's Degree (5 years) in Civil Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She concluded her studies with a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Design of Cities and Buildings.
In parallel with her studies she was working as an engineer but also as an English to Greek translator handling official documents and tenders. During the last year she started working as a freelance translator and already completed many projects.
