Marina has taken part in a project with an Environmental NGO. Her tasks were to translate documents and brochures about environmental preservation as well as a permaculture guide.

Holding a Post-Graduation Degree in Translation, Marina has been working as a freelance translator for the last five years, providing services to a large range of companies from several different fields of work. Lately, she has dedicated to the website localization, having translated over ten websites, including her personal translation webpage and a few travel websites, among others. She understands that the translation of webpages involves not just the transference of content from a language into another, but also the adjustment of such content into a different culture. Thus, website localization is a very challenging and exciting type of work, as it requires not just languages skills but also the capability of understanding different cultures and adapting the content to it!
