Ekaterina has been translating for ten years. She started working on her first projects when she was still a university student, majoring in English Language and Literature. Languages and linguistics have always fascinated Ekaterina. She believes that the most interesting part of being a translator is reading a text in a foreign language and imagining how it would have sounded had it been written in her mother tongue.

Hebrew to Russian

Ekaterina was born in Crimea; she has been living in Israel since 1999. She uses her academic background in Linguistics and her fluency in Hebrew to produce quality translations into her native Russian. She has a lot of experience in translating IDs, birth certificates, marriage certificates, transcripts, official letters, syllabi, diplomas, CVs, report cards, matriculation certificates and academic articles. Currently Ekaterina in looking for opportunities to translate books (fiction as well as and non-fiction), newspaper articles, blogposts and other types of texts from Hebrew into her native Russian.

English (US) to Russian

In addition to these types of documents, Ekaterina in interested in gaining experience in translating books (fiction as well as and non-fiction, especially History), newspaper articles, columns, blogposts and other sorts of texts into her native Russian.
