After receiving his Master's Degree in Linguistics, Interpretation and Translation from Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N. A. Dobrolyubov in 2000, Maxim has been working fulltime as a freelance translator English/French-Russian for companies like Linguistic Systems, Inc. (Cambridge, MA, USA), Alchemic Dream, Inc. (Quebec, Canada), AbroadLink (Spain), Mosaiques Translation (France) and a dozen of Russian translation agencies. Maxim started to take interest in foreign languages from an early age. And later the translation became his vocation and primary source of revenue. Maxim takes real pleasure in translation helping people to overcome language barriers and create reliable business relations.

Summary of Industry Experience


For the last several years Maxim has translated more than 8000 pages of different Television Agreements with such world known companies as BBC, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, MTV, George Lucas Film, Columbia Pictures, MGM International, Walt Disney, Shine International etc. Also he's translated different contracts and riders of such famous singers and music bands as Madonna, Elton John, Rod Steward, Britney Spears, U2, Metallica, Rolling Stones and others (ab. 5000 pages translated). Also he translates Articles of association, Memorandums, certificates, licences and contracts of any kind, e.g. agreements of delivery of different products and services, share purchase agreements, agreements with banks etc. Furthermore, he's translated more than 2,000 standard pages of Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning different matters - from credit institutions to environmental protection and fertilizers.
