Green Products

Julie is an advocate of sustainable and healthy product design within the office furniture and architectural products industries. She is a LEED Green Associate and has spent the last several years understanding and marketing environmentally friendly products for construction.


Julie has spent the majority of her career working in the interior design industry. She has written articles for the Northwest Builder's Journal of Wisconsin, Plinth and Chintz online newsletter and created dozens of brochures, info sheets, technical data documents for companies that either sell or manufacture building products or furnishings.


After several years working in the office furniture industry, Julie has seen several workplace trends come and go. She has written about these trends on both her personal blog and Spacesaver's blog.

Green Services

During her time working as an interior design professional for the commercial interiors industry, Julie was instrumental in leading the "green" movement within her company. She helped to found the corporate "green team," a volunteer group with a mission of improving environmental initiatives within the company. This team helped eliminate the use of styrofoam throughout the building, organized a local river clean up, and started a wood recycling effort that eventually became part of a pilot program in the city of Milwaukee.


The past five years of Julie's career have been spent in the content marketing field. She has experience in content management and distribution through digital and print media, including social channels, the development of both strategic and tactical marketing plans, the execution of complex marketing campaigns, event planning, and internal training initiatives.

Green Living

Years of working in the commercial office furniture industry exposed Julie to the many sides of sustainable design, and encouraged her to embrace sustainable living. She has since become a vegetarian, an avid recycler and she always brings her own bag to the grocery store... okay, maybe not always, but she has learned that even the smallest efforts really can make a difference.


Julie is a foodie. She has spent the last five years as a vegetarian and has learned to be creative with cooking. She has also frequented most of the restaurant in and throughout the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Need a recommendation or review? Julie is the one to ask.


After working in the commercial office furniture and interior design industry for six years, Julie found herself searching for a new career during the worst recession in recent history. She blogged throughout this job-search journey, gaining the attentional of local and national publications alike. After 15 months, over 100 resume drafts and a dozen interviews, Julie considers herself an unofficial expert on job searching and career development.

Blog Post

Julie has been blogging since 2009 on a personal and professional level. She has contributed the Spacesaver "Storage Solved" blog, the InPro blog, her personal blog "jewliweb" and several guest blogs. Her blogging even attracted some national attention and she was featured in an AP article in 2010 that was focused on interior design professionals job searching during the recession.


Julie has written copy for a variety of brochures over the course of the last five years. Examples include both product and vertical market brochures. Also completed was a company overview and a corporate sustainability brochures.

Data Sheet

Julie has written copy for technical data sheets during her time working at both InPro Corporation and Spacesaver Corporation.


Continuing Education Course Development was one of Julie's primary responsibilities while holding the position of A&D and Environmental Marketing Specialist for Spacesaver Corporation. She researched, wrote, and designed over ten new Continuing Education presentations for Spacesaver. Julie also co-authored a presentation for the WI Renewable Energy Conference called "Beyond the Building Shell."

Web Page

The Spacesaver Corporation website went through an internal revamp in 2013. Julie wrote a majority of the web copy for this project, which including consolidating nine microsites into one corporate market segment section of the new website. This copy was also Search Engine Optimized.


Julie has written ad copy for both print and digital advertisements targeting a variety of markets and individual buyer personas.

Newsletter Content

Julie wrote copy for both the Forrer Green Team newsletter and the UW-Waukesha Continuing Education Times newsletter.

White Paper

Julie has written two white papers for Spacesaver Corporation. Each white paper was written for a specific audience and involved research and collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts. The two papers were subsequently promoted through email and generated over 250 new leads for the company.
