Michael has worked as a sports writer with a daily newspaper, and served seven years in the communications departments of three professional hockey teams -- with five years at the NHL level. In addition to his extensive sports writing experience, he served for five years as director of communications for a not-for-profit medical association where he wrote primarily about emergency medicine topics. He also spent a year as a technical writer for a major defense contractor and nearly three years with a major financial services firm. He currently writes for the largest Ohio State sports blog on the web.
