Rob firmly believes cast iron is the one true skillet, that every weekend morning should begin with breakfast hash, and that while whole foods are vital to a good diet, his crippling addiction to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups will surely be his undoing.
His passion for red meat and "things that can be seared" extends beyond food and also touches his taste for beverage, as his preferred single malts are smokier than a tire fire. Rob is also a fierce beer connoisseur, with a running tally of tasting notes spanning nearly 400 distinct brews. Rob also blindly enjoys wine but has no discernible palate, distills his own gin, and will only touch tequila in the most dire emergencies.
Despite no professional experience in the F&B industry, Rob is a self-professed foodie with a voracious appetite in both breadth and volume. He is resigned to the inevitable fate that his metabolism will eventually falter.
