Marlene had a consulting assignment in Stockholm, Sweden for Ab Trav och Galopp, a harness racing track, which was expanding the scope of its business to online betting. Her work included designing graphics, testing code, and writing content for the English language portion of the company's Web site.

Marlene has written travel articles for major domestic and international clients of a content marketing company based in Tampa, Florida.
