Attended Carroll College (now University) during the 1983-1984 term, studying journalism and communications.
Attended the the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee between January 1986 through December 1989 as an Urban Planning major. During the time as a student was active in student governance, serving as President of the Student Union Policy Board and Director of Minority Affairs for the UW System in Madison, Wisconsin.
He has worked for several large Fortune 500 insurance companies in the areas of sales training and management, compliance and auditing. His expertise is in the area of estate and gift planning, having worked with large national foundations such as United Way of America and AARP foundations in Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, D.C. respectively.
He has been providing financial industry content for several years, with an emphasis on securities, asset allocation and financial planning. He has 25+ year's experience in the securities industry as a FINRA registered General Securities Representative (S7) and General Securities Principal (S24). He also obtained his Uniform Investment Advisers Law examination registration (S65) and has managed sales representatives for several Fortune 500 companies.
He has provided course books, training materials and other books for a variety of clients including accountants, banking and other financial services and homebrewers. These books were designed by him in consultation with the client to be provided as classroom education supplements or ebooks available for distribution through Amazon and other platforms.
