She is most comfortable writing about people, businesses, organizations, events and places in a fashion designed to educate and inform.
She also has experience writing ad copy for newspaper and radio.
Finally, Anne is an accomplished creative writer, with seven published and produced plays to her name, and her first traditionally published novel coming out this year.

Anne is interested in many things. Her curiosity is part of what makes her a good journalist.
She considers community theater to be her "playground", and directs and acts in a couple of productions annually. She also writes an original play for production as a mystery weekend every other year in partnership with her town's convention and visitor's bureau and a local community theater.
She also sees the theater as a way to offer a "safe place" to young people who are marginalized and in need of acceptance and a place to fit in.
A lifelong singer, Anne participates in church choir, which she admits also helps keep her voice in shape for musical theater productions!
She has always loved water sports, and is a swimmer and kayaker.
Yoga has helped her rehab from two full hip replacements, and she practices daily.
Creative writing has also been a lifelong love, and she is thrilled to have her first traditionally published novel coming out this year.
Anne is the mother of five grown children and grandmother of one teen, and has a spoiled standard poodle named Millie, and a newspaper cat named Arthur, who often publishes his own column.
She attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, from September, 1981 to June, 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the E. W. Scripps College of Journalism, one of the most respected in the country.

She is also a published playwright with seven original plays written and produced by her in partnership with her area visitors and convention bureau, as part of a bi-annual murder mystery weekend.
