This will probably be stated a lot, but Ashley owns a blog and is the primary writer. She takes her posts seriously, even when her posts are written to be enjoyable and comfortable for the audience to read.
Ashley writes and proofreads naturally in her daily life. She does it so naturally that trying to quantify it is difficult. Since middle school, she has been actively writing and proofreading for friends, coworkers, and herself, which was, quite frankly, too long ago.
A decently well-rounded individual, Ashley has interests in quite a few different venues.
She loves to read and write, which should surprise no one. She writes for fun and also for her blog, which is still fun. She reads everything from nonfiction, true crime, history, biographies, and science to fictional fairytales, retellings, romance, fantasy, and suspense.
Music is central to her life, Eastern Asian Music specifically, and she could probably talk all day long about Eastern Asian dramas. In addition, she loves drawing, traveling, studying Korean, and interior design and fashion.
She probably enjoys more things than she even realizes. Just mention a topic, and she might jump up and start freaking out about it.

Ashley founded and owns a blog dedicated to Eastern Asian Music (EAM). On the blog (which also has a corresponding podcast and YouTube channel), she focuses on things such as music reviews, recommendations, beginner-focused guides, and content geared toward EAM.
She has been in the EAM community for 20 years, consuming music, content, and culture, and is a fan of all genres of music.
In addition to reading a lot and listening to a lot of music, Ashley also (somehow) finds time to watch a lot of shows. This means she doesn't sleep much, but that's okay.
Ashley doesn't exclusively watch Eastern Asian shows, just mostly. A great plot or a great cast for a Western show can definitely snag her attention. It's just most common for people to find Ashley casually screaming about c-dramas, k-dramas, or even Thai dramas. She even has a blog series where she watches dramas with the readers.
This might be the easiest thing to talk to Ashley about, considering she has her blog. She's the primary writer, although she has some guest writers who come in from time to time to contribute. She has more than 45 posts she has written on her website alone, but she likes to scale them down since some are less content-focused and some more fun-focused. She writes posts ranging from informative, researched-based content to Top 10 lists to music reviews and recommendations. One thing is for sure, however: when you read an Ashley post, you are guaranteed to find her voice and distinct style that inspires a comfortable conversation between friends. She isn't talking to you; she's discussing with you.
Believe it or not, Ashley considered going into journalism for a while when she was younger. She wrote for her school's newspaper as a column writer for a year and enjoyed it. But, in hindsight, her greatest enjoyment was the research and writing component. Now, she can write articles on all topics because she learned how to research appropriately and through credible sources.

Ashley loves to read. She loves to read, maybe to an unhealthy level. Her apartment is packed wall-to-wall with albums and books, and she set up a blind date with her TBR to make her pulling books off her shelf more entertaining. Because she loves to read AND she loves to write, she also loves to write book reviews.
