Eleni's training is in literature and music, but she cut her professional teeth in areas like data management, sales enablement, and customer relationship software geared toward healthcare and higher ed.
She probably shines best in long-form copy, where she's able to delve into her subject matter and illuminate some of its finer points. That said, she's a big fan of exercising her short-form muscles in Facebook ads, Insta captions, etc., as they require a different syntax and skillset (and are usually a heck of a lot of fun).
Eleni's interests run a veritable gamut from Red Sox games to opera performances. You can sometimes find her strength training in the afternoons, but you're just as likely to find her hunched over a non-fiction murder mystery between writing projects.
Age-old and current obsessions include (in no particular order):
British quiz shows
AL East Baseball
Decorative hand lettering (She's not very good at it, though!)
...the list goes on!
Eleni completed her B.A. in English Literature at Vassar College in May 2004. While she took several courses in literature on everything from Shakespeare to the modern American novel, most of her studies focused on Victorian authors. Her senior thesis examined themes of music and singing in the work of George Eliot.
Eleni completed her master's in music at The Boston Conservatory in Boston, MA (now part of Berklee College of Music). Her studies culminated in an hour-long solo concert featuring works from the 18th to the 20th Centuries in five separate languages.
Eleni was a consulting writer for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' digital education branch from 2010 to 2020. In that role, she completed several print and digital guides for a wealth of operatic, symphonic, and popular music performances.
Eleni has also crafted program note copy for various performance centers, detailing the intricacies of many musical productions across the East Coast.
Eleni has worked as a consulting copywriter for Highspot (a leading sales enablement solution) for over three years. She's written a number of blog posts for the company surrounding B2B strategy and sales enablement best practices.
She's also written several articles for LeadSquared, a comprehensive CRM software aimed at the healthcare, insurance, and education industries. Much of her work for the company involved thought leadership copy in areas like college admissions, vocational education, and healthcare clinic marketing tactics.
Eleni is currently a content strategist with Highspot, an extensive sales enablement platform. For Highspot, she produces educational content in the form of articles and whitepapers, all designed to improve awareness and promote strategic thinking among sales enablement novices.
Her past work has also required her to produce long-form copy for SaaS companies such as Erply and LeadSquared.
Eleni's work with a branding consultancy client has exposed her to emerging opportunities within the Web3 landscape, including the selling of items forged using crypto mining heat. She's written and/or edited branding strategy and landing page copy surrounding these types of crypto-themed products and more.
Eleni has written several performance guides for children and young adults, mostly in her capacity as a consulting writer for The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She's developed copy for a variety of genres, including plays, operas, one-person shows, and symphonic/chamber instrumental concerts.
Eleni has worked for both branding- and marketing-focused clients for over four years. Her experience has required her to consult on, edit, and/or write all manner of copy, from Instagram captions to RFP introductions.
She's also had the occasion to write on marketing strategy, building several blog posts surrounding sales enablement and marketing best practices over the course of her work for Highspot and LeadSquared.
Eleni has a wealth of experience in producing long-form articles and educational guides based on extensive research. She's built 400-1000-word copy assets surrounding everything from the wellness economy to matcha tea. She also currently works as a content strategist for a top sales enablement solution company (so SaaS is an area where she feels fairly comfortable!).
Similarly, she's composed an expansive library of arts-focused educational material for a handful of performance arts organizations, perhaps most notably the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
For both LeadSquared and Highspot, Eleni has crafted informational eBooks on topics surrounding SaaS, sales and marketing thought leadership, and business learning methodologies. In some cases, she helped flesh out a previously-written outline, but for LeadSquared, she built an eBook on healthcare marketing plans entirely from scratch.
For Iron Mountain, Eleni wrote several in-depth case studies detailing how Iron Mountain's data governance solutions helped a variety of high-profile clients across several industries (including eCommerce and hospitality). These studies often required her to sit in on lengthy interviews with an IM client, delving into their business struggles and triumphs.
Eleni has also been involved in editing and/or consulting on case studies for her agency clients. These studies typically outline her client's successful interactions with another business and take a look at the many advantages the client can offer to organizations currently facing challenges re: branding identity or market reach.
