Richard is currently enrolled part-time at the Junior level in WMU's School of Communication in pursuit of a Bachelor's in Film, Video, & Media Studies with a minor in Journalism. He transferred general study credits from Kellogg Community College in August of 2020. His projected graduation is June of 2024.

RIchard spent time working as a freelance writer with a small independent media production company. His responsibilities included writing original blog posts as a ghostwriter for a company that owns and operates several substance abuse treatment facilities in multiple states. Extensive research and interviews with counselors and patients was often required for this work.
