As a government lawyer, she specializes in technical and policy writing. She does outreach to the public and offers customer service in locating records of the agency. She has also drafted policy memorandum while working on Capitol Hill as a legislative counsel. Lisa is also a published children's author (middle grade) and enjoys copywriting for individuals and local businesses.
Lisa enjoys working with small businesses on their social media content. Specifically, she has drafted descriptions for writing workshops, drafted postings for Facebook writer groups, designed political organizational pages in Facebook, and event descriptions on Meetup.com.
For fun, Lisa enjoys journaling, coloring, and photography. She lives with her mini dachshund named Biscuit or "Bisky."
She completed her law degree at the University of Maryland in 1995. She passed the bar thereafter.
She was accepted in the MFA Program at UBalt. She plans to attend part-time since she works during the day.

Lisa has worked extensively with banks and their compliance concerns while in the federal government. She also has worked in Maryland's oldest independent bank (now M&T Bank) as in-house counsel for three years and worked with the public on customer service issues.
