Griffith P. earned his bachelors degree in Anthropology at Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He was a staff writer for a small community newspaper focused on firefighting and emergency calls. Among his duties was interviewing individuals and writing articles explaining the situations that allowed people to envision what it was like to be a firefighter and gain insight into the physical, mental and emotional aspects of doing this work. He has written articles for websites covering various industries and interests. He is currently writing a book on financial matters for lower income people and is the author of numerous screenplays. He has written many grants to gain funding from private and governmental funding sources for nonprofit agencies.

His background includes serving as a Senior Branch Manager for one of the largest regional banks in the United States. He focused on a wide range of financial and credit issues affecting small businesses and individuals. He built high performing sales teams that learned how to attract and retain customers.

Griffith P. worked helping small businesses succeed. He relied on his background of serving as a supervisor in a large manufacturing plant and as a National Sales Representative for a small family company to understand the needs of businesses in today's marketplace.

He also has been involved in non-profit work for over 30 years. He served as a House Manager for the largest emergency shelter in the United States for Canadian-bound political refugees. His has a strong understanding of grants, fund-raising, volunteerism, budgets, community support and involvement. He has served as a board member on business and non-profit organizations on state and local levels. Griffith P. also founded an organization dedicated to supplying fresh produce to emergency homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Griffith P. was an active firefighter for many years. He served as firematic captain and training officer. He was involved in a county wide program to address juvenile fire starters.
