Tiffany W is a Senior Program Development Specialist and Adjunct Faculty for a community college district in a large metropolitan area. She developed a social media education program and curriculum, and writes and teaches all of the courses for the program. Currently, she is working with a certifying body to develop the course curriculum into an accredited social media certification program.
In addition to her role with the college district, she is a freelance writer and provides social media services for small to mid-size businesses.
Tiffany has been ghost-writing for eight years, and has evolved with the industry by developing knowledge and expertise in SEO. Her writing is well-researched and precise, and carefully structured to accommodate search engine algorithm changes. She studies the industry daily and stays on top of what is going on in the world of writing, blogging, and social media.
Tiffany's background is diverse. Her professional career began in human services and non-profits, and has made a gradual shift to marketing, social media, and technology. She has expertise in program development, project management, United States Department of Labor grants and programs, at-risk youth, career coaching and workforce development, technology, social media, politics, online community management, and technical writing. Two of the workforce programs she developed earned national recognition from the United States Department of Labor.
Her career shifted from human service and workforce development to technology when she was recruited to build an online workforce center for one of the largest workforce boards in the United States. Already a self-certified "geek," she was delighted to combine her three passions (human services, writing, and technology) and create her dream job.
For fun, she is studies the history of the English language, word etymology, and politics. She is a bibliophile, and loves anything old, particularly antique books and toys. Intellectual discussions and debates about education, politics, religion, and current events rock her world!
Tiffany is active in her church, and serves on the board of a state and federally funded community health organization. She is a single mom with two children, one in high school and one in elementary school. They live in a charming 100 year old cottage in the middle of nowhere.
