Rachel owns a mini farm and is working alongside her husband to learn the ins and outs of farm life. In addition, they are renovating their 1940s farmhouse themselves. It is quite the adventure!

She personally has type 1 diabetes, is a total dog mom, and enjoys using her stage management skills whenever she can!
Rachel has worked with small businesses over the course of her career. Writing for a distillery, a cabin stay, a NASCAR team, a baker, a creative designer, a donut franchise, a life coach, a real estate agent, a Broadway dresser, a financial advisor, and more, she ensures consistency across all branding, creates and adheres to style guides, and really learns about each and every business she partners with.
Rachel majored in theater in college and served as a stage manager for several years at a large regional theater in Texas.
She has experience proofreading and editing scripts, working with playwrights, drafting scripts of her own, and producing theatrical productions from conception to curtain call.
Rachel creates social media content for a cabin stay in rural Virginia.
Rachel has written website copy, email newsletter copy, and a grant proposal for a coach in the wellness space.
In addition, she has created her own content for social media and built a community around talking about type 1 diabetes — the mental and physical sides of it.
With a positive, uplifting, genuine approach to living your best life with a chronic illness, she encourages others through her writings to live beyond a diagnosis or traumatic event.
Rachel and her husband own a mini-farm in Tennessee. Currently, they raise chickens and grow produce for their local community, and they are looking to expand their operation to more acreage soon!
