He served as a corps member and a staff member for Teach For America in the Greater New Orleans Region, where he partnered with schools and school leaders to create pathways toward greater educational equity for all children. He also taught high school English Literature, creative writing, and writing applications at the International High School of New Orleans. He is a credentialed educator in the state of Louisiana.
