Kathie writes fiction, non-fiction, short stories, flash fiction, and copy. She also blogs and maintains social media presence and two websites. She has knowledge in WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Recently Kathie relocated from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado to Arizona where she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and pilates. She has added bicycling to her outdoor fun with Tucson being one of the riding capitals in the United States.
Kathie studied fine art photography along with creative writing.
As a volunteer, Kathie has done the marketing for Pikes Peak Writers' anthologies and she also is the Production Manager. She produced and posted all of the copy and images for social media and blog posts related to promoting and selling the books.
Kathie has been a customer service representative for most of her working career (over 30 years). Much of that involved working with select customers as their Account Representative.
The majority of this experience was from working in the photography industry.
Kathie has been the Production Manager of two anthologies. One was published March 2021 and the second was published March, 2022. She oversees all aspects of producing and publishing a book, from submission intake to editing, cover design, book layout, publication, and marketing.
She has entry-level knowledge of Affinity Publishing.
Over the past 8 years, as a volunteer, this writer has sent out a weekly blog post through Mailchimp to subscribers. Along with the email campaigns she also creates images for blog posts and social media. She has been a longtime volunteer with Pikes Peak Writers, a professional writing organization out of Colorado Springs, CO.
