Allie's writing career began in first grade when she penned a 15-page story about her favorite topic – horses. Throughout the rest of her school career, she was never seen without a notebook nearby.

Always an overachiever, at the age of 9, she applied for a position as "junior editor" at her favorite magazine, the international equestrian magazine Saddle & Bridle. She was hired, and because the position was a remote one and the quality of her writing was so exceptional, it wasn't until years later that the magazine's publishers learned that she had only been 9. She continued writing a monthly column for the magazine until she began her college career, and years later, she now serves as its managing editor.

Allie holds bachelor's degrees in both communications and equestrian science, as well as a Master of Arts in Journalism. Throughout her career, she has written articles for print magazines and newspapers; articles for pet/entertainment websites; press releases for universities and other businesses; blogs; website content; grant proposals; internal and external newsletters and more. She has also edited novels for various self-published authors, and has three books of her own, published by a niche publisher.
