Her Art History education required extensive writing, specifically research papers that illustrated complex concepts about society through the lens of art in public spaces.
This continuing education course taught me how to use storytelling in order to craft impactful grant requests. The course required collaboration with other students and peer review of all grants created during the class.
Yael worked full time in the regional Austin office for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). In this role, she managed all social media for the Austin region and created regularly posted content for ADL Austin Wordpress blog. Additionally, she created and distributed newsletters, action alerts and event invitations to ADL's email distribution list (which Yael kept updated with current contact information). She also wrote articles for monthly publicationÂ in the Austin Jewish Outlook on behalf of ADL Austin.
Yael worked full time for Visio Lending for 5 months, primarily managing marketing for events and trade shows. In this role, she wrote original content for the company blog, spanning topics relevant to real estate investors and brokers. These topics included marketing tips for brokers, tenant management tips for landlord, and product recommendations for vacation rentals. Each article required extensive research into current trends in the real estate investment industry.
Yael worked full time for Visio Lending for 5 months, primarily managing marketing for events and trade shows. Additionally, she wrote original content and copyedited articles published on the company blog, designed new landing pages to emphasize and consolidate event information for brokers and investors, and collaborated with graphic designers to create branded materials.
She also managed marketing at ADL Austin for local events and new releases of educational materials.
Yael written long form and shorter content for both nonprofit and for-profit blogs using platforms like Wordpress and HubSpot. In addition to writing SEO content, she also formatted these posts to be easily navigated by readers.
For 3 years, Yael wrote a monthly article on behalf of a nonprofit organization for the Austin Jewish Outlook, a local paper that circulates to approximately 8,000 subscribers. Not only do these experiences exemplify her writing skills, but also required her to learn how to express the nonprofit's messaging in an impactful way.
