Tea has been writing for most of her life, starting with journals around twelve years old. She was co-editor of her high school newspaper and wrote the telephone manual for the college she attended.

In 2002, Tea decided to take the plunge and start submitting to markets. Through the years she has been published in numerous books and magazines including Chicken Soup for the Soul books, Cup of Comfort books, and Highlights magazine. She has also written three books of her own.

For about a year and a half, Tea worked as a content writer doing product descriptions and comparisons. She also wrote some guest blogs for the company. Since then she has gone on to write for blogs and websites of her own.
