Similarly, she worked briefly as a Seasonal Artist for Sephora, and her primary responsibilities included color-matching clients, recommending products based on need and skin type, staying up to date on the latest beauty trends, generating sales, and performing in-store makeovers. Furthermore, her impressive creative writing resume and ability to craft accessible dialogue, makes her an ideal candidate for beauty blogging and copywriting. She knows how to connect with people through her posts, and her voice effortlessly translates to strong readership.
Kate has been a passionate advocate for shining the light on women's health issues and concerns for as long as she can remember. She is particularly invested in researching (and then subsequently writing about) clean skincare and household products, female hormonal health, birth control, gynecological care, psychology, and wellness strategies.
Kate has a variety of personal experiences that have contributed to a number of blog posts across multiple platforms. She is happy to write about most anything, provided it gives her an opportunity to showcase her own perspective. This is a snippet of a lifestyle post she did for Thought Catalog a few years ago.
Kate wrote this ten-minute play titled, "Shooting Janine," while she was a Playwriting Fellow with Athena Theatre Company. It was then performed at Symphony Space.
