After graduating from college with a B.A. in Literature, I wrote abstracts for H. W. Wilson Company, specializing in science and technology. My writing had to be fast and accurate to keep up with the daily quotas. Eventually, I moved from that job to take a position as assistant editor for the magazine, CD-ROM Professional. CD-ROMs were a big deal back then. Again, I pushed hard to make deadlines set by our editorial calendar.

Over the years, I've gained experience with many technologies:
-- Supervising the creation of digital special effects at Rhythm and Hues, I spearheaded the development of some pipeline tools to facilitate communication with our remote locations. (Fun fact, I also supervised work on two Academy Award-winning movies: The Golden Compass and Life of Pi.)

-- I managed hardware development projects and the creation of project management software tools for Belkin International.

-- My wife and I also started a mobile app company with her grad school roommate, creating mobile apps for children. They were very cute, and we even won a few awards for them.

What does this mean to you? It means I have a wealth of experience to draw on while creating your content.

You have a new product or service, and you need to get the word out.

To do that, you'll not only need journalists, bloggers, and influencers to notice your press release. You'll need them to want to write about you, too. Your press release must be newsworthy; it needs to tell a story that captures people's attention.

And, if it's written in the journalistic style of a news story, journalists and bloggers will have less work to format the press release into a story they can share. That increases the likelihood they'll want to pick it up.

I will craft a compelling story about your product or service, written as a news article.

It’s an old problem. You have something new and great going on, but you’re having a hard time getting anyone to notice. Often, things that are new or complicated get passed over for the simple reason that no one understands what it is or how it can help them.
