Jeff took classes in English, design, color theory, illustration, public speaking, religion, world geography, philosophy, ancient Hebrew, and 3D design. He was a tutor for reading.
Jeff took many creative writing classes as well as classes in professional / legal writing, accounting, financial management, marketing, business law, art history, the history of architecture, Islamic art and architecture, macroeconomics, microeconomics, game theory, statistics, German, Portuguese, and philosophy. He was a Teaching Assistant for MacroEconomics.
Jeff's master's project consisted of selecting an actual firm, researching the firm and market, and creating a rebranding strategy complete with new corporate identity, style guide, and ads.
One of Jeff's duties working at Arizona Federal Credit Union was to market their financial / investment services. Jeff wrote four letters to members nearing retirement with information about current laws for saving for retirement. The letters also encouraged members to meed with a financial advisor at the credit union. Jeff also created short paragraphs on the website to promote the investment services and two handouts for month-long promotions to members to encourage 401(k) rollovers.
Jeff has provided text and design for several print marketing pieces and text for websites for chiropractors selling their services to potential patients.
Jeff provided nearly 60 articles focusing on technology and its local and national effects for Examiner.com.
Jeff has worked for a marketing company, a production house, and as an in-house designer/writer creating advertisements for financial services, investment services, a car-buying service, medical clinics, chiropractic clinics, law offices, savings accounts, loans, credit cards, real estate agents, printing services, spider traps, music on-hold productions, and diaper cakes (yes, that's a real thing).
Jeff worked at a credit union creating 1-3 banner ads per month for the credit union's web site. He was also responsible to create monthly banner ads for the credit union's current promotion to be shown on local business' sites in various industry-standard sizes.
While working at Arizona Federal Credit Union as an in-house designer, Jeff contributed articles to the quarterly newsletter on topics including online banking, investment services, a car-buying service, and savings and loan products.
