Virginia completed a double major in both Communications and Spanish while at the same time competing on the varsity swimming and diving team for all 4 years.
Since undergraduate school, Virginia gravitated toward the field of health and fitness. She decided to return to school in 1999 to complete a degree in the study of food science.
While working as a chemist, Virginia returned to school to broaden her education in order to be promoted into a management position.
Virginia has been a working chemist for 10 years. She has worked on developing products such as over the counter anti-acne medication, sunscreens, lip balms, hair and body cleansers.
Virginia has a Master of Science degree in Food Science. She has worked in the food industry for a number of years before moving into the ingredient side of the business.
Virginia has expertise in the fitness industry. She has been an athlete her entire life. She went to college on a diving scholarship and was a professional high diver during this time as well. She then went on to become a fitness trainer for a number of years. Today she is a triathlete and also enjoys yoga and crossfit.
Virginia has just begun her journey into writing blog posts. She is thoroughly enjoying it so far and looks forward to writing more.
In her previous corporate job, Virginia wrote many technical articles. This included technical data sheets, product formulations, and product brochures. She also wrote press releases for the company and edited technical documentation submitted by chemists.
