Alice has over three years of experience in the specialty foods industry as the owner of an artisanal plant-based chocolate business. She managed all aspects of her operation, including handcrafting her chocolates and confections, setting up and operating a vending booth at various markets across western Washington, and marketing her products on her website and Facebook page.

Prior to this, Alice spent 10 years in the water quality industry as a laboratory scientist analyzing samples from various stages of the wastewater and drinking water treatment processes. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Washington University as an environmental science major.
