40 years' experience as a copywriter, creative director, and marketing director with major national and regional advertising clients-Dollar General Stores, Bridgestone Tires, Sarah Lee Foods, and many others. He is also a songwriter, record/jingle producer, and recording artist. Currently the marketing director of SST Studios and Rentals, a nationally-known New York City recording studio. Also currently a weekly columnist the Warren Tribune Chronicle and Youngstown Vindicator newspapers. The achievement of which he is most proud: he created the Dollar General Adult Literacy Program (now the DG Literacy Foundation, arguably the most successful corporate adult education initiative in U.S. history.
