John's undergraduate studies consisted of research and the study of societal groups. How do certain groups think? What are their buyer traits? How, as a marketer, can we focus our efforts on the right individuals?
His studies have helped with his writing to ensure he is gearing his thoughts and content to the proper individuals. He has taken what he's learned and incorporated it into the writing for his clients to ensure their words are seen by the people they're written for.
One of John's strongest areas of expertise is in keyword research and copywriting. The idea of your blog, website content, or ebook is to convert readers into customers, right? John is aware of this and looks at every written word as an opportunity to generate a lead.
John has worked as a technical writer and lecturer within the medical software (electronic medical records) field since 2009. He has created training manuals and web-based training videos for end users. He takes what he's learned from subject matter experts and lectures conducts training sessions that match the manuals he's created.
John's profession is writing. But for many clients, writing isn't a strong suit. For John, speaking with an industry expert and helping them share their knowledge through an ebook or hardcover is a passion. He works with the expert in every step to help ensure their message is clear to the everyday reader. He has taken the thoughts of many industry leaders and turned them into engaging content.
John believes blogs are the easiest way to get a large amount of content onto your site. The typical buyer journey will involve browsing your company's website and the more educational and thought-provoking material on there, the more reputable you and/or your company look. Not to mention, blogs are the easiest way to boost your search engine results page (SERPs) rankings.
John's writing journey began with his own novels and has moved into ghostwriting for clients. He has written fiction, nonfiction, and business books.
John's very first piece of content was a screenplay. He's written several scripts of his own since and has also assisted clients with writing shorts and full-length scripts.
John also has experience writing scripts for web-based training and instructional design videos using the Show, Do, Say methodology.
