Heather's specialties include family and children, women's interests, and mental health.
Heather enjoys education issues, books, and family.
Heather returned to college fifteen years after she graduated from high school to show her children the importance of a college education. Her passion for writing was re-ignited by her English professor. She went on to be featured in the school's literary anthology twice and also served as co-editor.
To take advantage of the opportunity, Heather took all the writing courses the school had available in both fiction and non-fiction. She entered the regional honor society's writing contest two years in a row, taking first and second place respectively.
Heather has written a variety of pieces regarding family and kids. Some have been sponsored posts for products she either likes or was given and opportunity to try. Others have been as guest authors on other sites.
At one time, the term "mommy blogger" was a hot topic of conversation and she was given the opportunity to write about it.
Heather's breadth of work has come primarily in the form of blog posts, both her own and paid opportunities for others' sites. She enjoys the challenge and brevity that comes with creating an eye-catching piece that drives traffic.
