Dave graduated from Columbia College Chicago, for which he later taught Broadcasting part-time for seven semesters and served on the school's Alumni Board. During his days as a student, he began his broadcasting career at WCYC-FM in Chicago hosting and producing news and sports programs.

His 'short' writing includes weekly blog and social media posts and making them relate to what the client has as the priority at the time.
