John has been a technical, marketing, and creative writer for over 20 years excelling at communicating complex subject matter in a clear, concise manner for a wide variety of audiences. As a technical and marketing writer John has worked for large companies like Disney, Morgan Stanley, and NBC and for smaller companies such as PolyPaths LLC and Popkin Software.

John is the author of the short-story collection, "Dreams and Dull Realities" and the novel, "The World." His novel-in-progress, "Worlds," was a finalist in the 2002 New Century Writers' Awards and the 2018 William Faulkner William Wisdom Competition. John has had five full-length and five one-act plays produced in Manhattan, including "In the Wilderness" and "In a Bucket of Blood." His drama, "Sons of Molly Maguire," produced at Dublin's Liberty Hall in May 2017, told the Mollies' story for the first time on an Irish stage. An essay of John's will appear in the anthology, "The Writing Irish of New York" to be published in December 2018. He has Masters Degree in Irish Literature from the Catholic University of America.
