Depending on who you ask, Kas is either a very well written engineer or an extremely mechanically-inclined writer. During her time in the medical field, she was the liaison between clinical staff and biomedical engineering. She on-boarded staff, explained new equipment, and wrote guides to help the clinical staff use equipment.

She began to learn about marketing through online certification courses and is a certified content marketing specialist and a certified customer value optimization specialist through Digital Marketer.

During her education, she wrote SEO copy to support herself and pay for her education. When the chance to leave engineering presented itself, she took the risk. Now she freelances full-time.

She is a copywriting and SEO specialist, competent in Word Press and Google Analytics as well as Yoast and MOZ. She is up to date on best practices for SEO and strives to keep herself as up-to-date as possible on SEO trends. She has done significant work in optimizing meta tags, page titles, and descriptions.

Kas prides herself on transparency and the ability to adjust her writing to fit my client's voice. Her most recent contract was with American Signature Furniture. She spent a total of 3 months developing an SEO campaign for them that included updates to the copy on their child brand sites. Just before that, Kas worked for LBrands as a UX writer for their Controlled Vocabulary Project.
