Liz is a wife to a scientist, mom to two little boys, and human to one very particular rescue dog. After a stint in the Windy City she put down roots in North Carolina,
She does not enjoy working out (but tells herself she does), color-codes just about everything, and can't get enough of productivity tools like Trello, Todoist, and a good old fashioned planner.
She also is a fan of a good Old Fashioned, particularly the one from The Violet Hour in Chicago.
When her fingers aren't dancing across a keyboard they're thumbing through a book, picking up a slice of Margherita pizza, directing someone to get down from there this instant, or renovating a 1986 Colonial with (what seems like) miles of its original wallpaper intact.
Liz graduated Cum Laude with a 3.56 GPA and five semesters on the Dean's list. She minored in Creative Writing.
A devotee of Domino, Southern Living, and everything Becki Ownes does, Liz is obsessed with interior design. But she also sees that without the homemaking systems in place, you'll neversee those herringbone floors to enjoy in the first place. Whether it's hacking your systems or establishing methods and routines to make home life easier, Liz firmly believes that home life is both an art and a science. Young adults living on their own for the first time, newlyweds, and busy families may not have the first-hand experience or resources that let them live their best life at home.
Liz delights in making her own home life-giving and beautiful. She enjoys sharing tips & tricks that make everything from home decor to cleaning routines work harder so you don't have to.
Liz delights in detailing the trials and joys of new(ish) motherhood. As each day unfolds she finds herself using the troubleshooting, negotiation, research and resilience skills she developed in her 6 years as a marketing director for a multi-million dollar independent small business.
Liz now combines her creativity and passion for her dual vocations as a mother and writer. She delights in crafting content for your community and customers that relates to pregnancy, motherhood, babies, kids, navigating the transition to motherhood, and uplifting other moms with the community they seek.
Liz enjoys writing to, for and about women's interests. Areas of expertise include children, marriage, homemaking, female entrepreneurship, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle through a feminine lens. Her enthusiastically feminine voice lends itself well to this industry. Liz spent 6 years in the jewelry industry writing blog posts, marketing copy and website copy educating a largely female audience on the ever-fascinating jewelry business - especially engagement rings. Liz enjoys keeping up with wedding industry trends and writing about them.
Liz's first journalism job was as a freelance writer for a major metropolitan newspaper. Articles are among her expertise and she expertly crafts compelling content that informs, educates, and establishes credibility using current research, statistics, and quotes from leaders in the field.
You have roughly 8 seconds to capture your website visitors' attention, and that time is dwindling in an online world competing for their attention. Liz knows that compelling copywriting is the way to hook them, and walk visitors through your entire website with storytelling that makes them want more.
Whether it's your "About Me" page (the most visited besides your homepage), your sales page, your brand's story, or any other copy you need, Liz has you covered. In-depth web page content and new site build outs are her forte.
Liz specializes in blog posts. Whether long form or short form, she has been blogging on the Wordpress platform professionally for the last 11 years.

A blog is the ideal place to blend education with a unique voice, and Liz enjoys weaving the two together.
