As an intern member of the Northern Virginia Magazine team, Stephen produced several articles on a weekly basis and conducted interviews with Mayor Silberberg of Alexandria, bestselling author Stephen Harding, and the CEO of Moore & Giles Inc.

During his time as a freelance writer and editor with Key Communications, he was responsible for writing daily news articles for the company’s website, as well as the production of AGRR Magazine. Production of the magazine required that Stephen organize, edit, and produce the departments and features, all of which had to completed on a very strict deadline.

Since then, he has continued to build his career in the editorial field by working as a freelance writer for various clients and as a full-time editor with the Department of Defense. These opportunities have given him the chance to further his writing and have led to his work being featured with various print magazines and websites, including Northern Virginia Magazine, AGRR Magazine, Capitol Standard, MSN, and Stacker.
