Trevor has received an Associate of Arts degree from Cowley County Community College in the field of mass communications.
Mass media training with an emphasis on journalism, including print, video, audio, online and multimedia. Additional courses taken in advertising, marketing, Spanish and politics.
As a reporter, Trevor has covered entertainment events including concerts, local theater and more. He has also written many articles reviewing movies and albums - the latter of which have won awards.
As a writer for a local magazine, Trevor has covered several political events and candidates, including the 2016 Presidential campaign, congressional campaigns, rallies and state congressional proceedings. Trevor has a deep political understanding with a pragmatic approach to covering all vantage points. In addition, he is minoring in political science.
Over 5 years of experience as a journalist, beginning with a student publication as Editor-in-Chief and most recently as a paid reporter for a local LGBT magazine.
As an radio advertising intern for 102.5 The River, Trevor wrote scripts for commercials for local businesses, including salons, auto repair shops, florists, casinos and more.
