Sarah completed the Graduate Residency program in Education, Environment and Community at IslandWood, and completed her Master's of Science Education degree at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Skidmore College. She specialized in cell and molecular biology, but completed much coursework in ecology as well.
