Lindsey holds a bachelor of arts from a world-renowned undergraduate anthropology program which specializes in preparing students for critical writing and research. She graduated magna cum laude, and had her senior thesis published and awarded departmental honors and the closing position in the thesis ceremony. She performed award-winning research in the intersection of race and religion, among myriad other research projects which received acclaim. For her breadth of approach to scholarship she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society upon her graduation.
Lindsey is currently enrolled in graduate study at the Top 5 ranked graduate art school, School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In the visual and critical studies program, she innovates hybrid research practices to unite the visual with the written to form new means of interpersonal communication. She writes on issues facing mass media, symbolic exchange, cultural production, and more.
Lindsey has developed educational copy across various fields of study for over three years. She has provided ghost written copy for such popular media providers as Discovery Channel which has been shared multiple thousands of times on various social media platforms. Additionally, she has provided more niche copywriting under her own name to various sources, from how-to to political websites. Her interests and expertise spread from hard sciences to pop science to social sciences.
Upon her graduation from Lewis & Clark College, Lindsey was hired by a web content contract firm to provide educational content for a variety of popular websites. Her expertise lies in the fields of history, science, and culture--but she has provided refreshing and accurate articles on an assortment of other topics. Considering herself equal parts researcher, writer, and customer service agent, Lindsey thrives on intuiting the voice and style desired to tailor articles that generate traffic and subject enthusiasm.
Throughout Fall of 2016, Lindsey provided variegated email correspondence and newsletters to the clients of a large real estate consulting firm based out of Austin, Texas. Through developing a deep understanding of individual relationships, Lindsey fostered both excitement and comfort in the firm's current and potential clients by tailoring each email to every particular situation.
During the Fall of 2016, Lindsey wrote press releases for a real estate consulting firm. The firm was facing unusually low attendance numbers for an upcoming international conference that they host, and was in need of some buzz to be generated regarding the event. Over the course of just a few press releases, she contributed stimulating copy that boosted attendance numbers greatly over just the course of two weeks.
