Lori attended Walla Walla Community College with a focus on medical transcription and training. She completed her 2-year degree having achieved a place on the Dean's list each quarter and also at completion was placed on the President's list. She worked part time and had 2 children attending middle school. She felt it was a good example for her children to attend school, enjoy it, and achieve a high grade level.
Lori had a request to complete an article on Ergonomics for the transcription industry magazine. Lori has completed multiple online webinars on her own time to enhance the quality of life for many individuals working from their homes. Lori then went on to work with other industry writers to create a training curriculum for an online career college and was the first level technical contact for weekend workers and office staff. Training programs to enhance quality and production have been the primary goal and focus in the past 25 years for her.
Accuracy and production go hand in hand. Lori has developed multiple webinars and coaching sessions for groups and individuals to enhance the quality of work for the employer and the employee. She has developed an understanding of the dedication and self-discipline required to maintain a profitable and enjoyable home office environment. She studies the process, the group and individual needs, and presents solutions to employees and employers with humor and tenacity. If one person increases their profit, while maintaining accuracy, she has achieved her goal. Her ability to assess a potential problem area for individuals as well as groups has led her down many avenues in telecommunications, healthcare, and adult online education.
