Sam's start at writing professionally was something he actually just sort of stumbled into - he thinks it was back around May of probably 2014 that he'd gotten randomly picked by a friend to help him launch DC Comics News (dot com).
That was his first experience really working with deadlines. It would later expand into working directly on face to face interviews with creators for DC, and later down the road other comic companies.
In pretty much the same line of work, Sam helped that same friend launch Comics Roulette a year and a half later after covering a handful more of comic conventions and private gatherings for DC Comics news. That's really when Sam started to break out and do write-for-hire work on his own.
Sam has since helped launch the website Tales of the Con (dot com) and let himself go from that over irreconcilable creative differences with the folks he launched it with. He's not done as much as some of the writers on here to be sure, but Sam would like to think he brings some unique experience with the amount of face to face interviews he's done.
