Tammie enjoys all genres, but particularly excels in the areas of business interest, humor blogging and/or informative/how-to articles.
Throughout the years, Tammie earned a variety of course credits; however, the responsibilities of being a wife, mother of two, employed full time and freelance writing, kept her from completing her degree. Now that her children are grown, she is pursuing her degree in Business Administration.
This project described the benefits of a reliable, innovative accounting package. This particular assignment involved research of company website, social media and point of sale materials. In addition, the client provided the desired "take home" punch for the article. The article appeared as both a blog post and part of a company flyer.
The second project focused on a Point of Sale System, specifically targeted to restaurants. This "Interview" style article introduced the founder of the company, adding a personal touch. For added impact, text boxes listed "Included Features" and "Optional Features".
This client specialized in International Travel. Research involved destination, activity and attraction descriptions along with presenting the agency and agent as the "Expert" in this field. Articles included Fiji, Travel Planning and About Us Article.
This project involved a "List" style writing. Development of the topic "Customer Service" involved interviewing several individuals who worked in a call center environment and basic research. This article was unique because the "Tips" presented were directed toward the customer, not the representative. The overall goal was to help customers recognize behaviors that may negatively effect the intended result of the call.
Working for an online marketing company, social media postings were part of the package. This involved countless hours of developing posts that would engage followers and encourage LIKES and FOLLOWS, but the overall goal was to drive the audience to either the company website or location. The most common Social Media vehicles included: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Every blog is unique. A business blog post is most effective when the post provides tips, ideas, suggestions and/or valuable information. The client should be viewed as the expert in the field and the blog post should not have a "direct advertising" overtone.
Development of a :30 and :60 radio spot for printing company. Because this industry faces heavy competition, emphasis was placed on creating "A Great First Impression" with the use of "State of the Art" services.
