Elizabeth is currently employed in the Financial Services industry where she often writes training materials related to account openings for institutional clients. She has also written several freelance published articles on various lifestyle topics with a central theme of financial advice for young people.
Elizabeth worked for several years as a staff writer with a health insurance company writing brochures and articles on a variety of health-related topics for the plan's members. In this capacity she learned to communicate scientific and technical information to general audiences.
As a general freelancer Elizabeth is often faced with assignments on topics she is unfamiliar with. In these situations she will deploy her excellent research skills to acquire the knowledge needed to produce a quality piece. Recent topics requiring research have included blood plasma donation, using WIC benefits and exotic pet ownership.
In an effort to expand her writing capabilities Elizabeth frequently takes on-line courses in a variety of genres. Recent courses have included science fiction writing, travel writing and copywriting. Materials produced under the banner of copywriting have included email advertisements, traditional print ads and direct mail pieces.
